Ces Pecten Jacobaeus viennent de la Collection Jean Villain! Ils sont endémiques de la Méditerranée mais peuvent être trouvés avec Pecten maximus avec lequel il est souvent confondu! Le plus coloré pourrait être Pecten Keppelianus ! Il existe des hybrides entre jacobeus et maximus :Pecten intermedia Monterosato, 1899 et Pecten maximus var. minor Pallary, 1900 dans leur aire commune de répartition !
These Pecten Jacobaeus come from the Jean Villain Collection! They are endemic to the Mediterranean but can be found with Pecten maximus with which it is often confused! The most colorful might be Pecten Keppelianus! There are hybrids between jacobeus and maximus: Pecten intermedia Monterosato, 1899 and Pecten maximus var. minor Pallary, 1900 in their common range!
